Playing it Forward: Rebuilding Families Program

  • Has your child been affected by family violence, and are you concerned about the long-term impact without early support?

  • Are you noticing troubling behaviours in your child as a result of family violence, and want to take action now to prevent further emotional harm?

  • Do you need support to reconnect with and/or strengthen your bond with your child?

  • Have you sought support but faced barriers such as lack of funding, long waitlists, or other challenges preventing you from accessing therapy?

We are pleased and grateful to announce that, through the Social Shift Funding from the Department of Social Services in partnership with HBNC, we now have the opportunity to support children and families affected by domestic and family violence, at no cost to the family.

Our program, Playing it Forward: Rebuilding Families Program, is specifically tailored to support families exposed to family violence including focusing on both the child impacted and strengthening the parent-child relationship.

This program consists of evidence-based therapeutic supports, including Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT) and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT).
